Lessons From COVID-19 – Sermon from Trinity Baptist Church
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake image and mount it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will recover.” So Moses made a bronze snake and mounted it on a pole. Whenever someone was bitten, and he looked at the bronze snake, he recovered.
Numbers 21:8-9
At a time when most of the world was under stay-at-home orders, Pastor Josh Guajardo gave a sermon on lessons from Covid-19. This sermon on Covid-19 centers around the key passage in Numbers 21:4 – 9. Pastor Josh outlined 3 key Covid-19 lessons learned:
1) We are not in control: But we are called to place our lives in the hands of the One who IS in full control
2) We forget how to be grateful: But we are called to be grateful for the many things we that God has given us
3) We foolishly disobey all the time: But in the midst of our foolish humanity, God is still gracious
Pastor Josh reminds us that all of these Covid-19 lessons point us back to a loving and present God who is calling us back to Him.
