Childcare

Birth – 3 years

Childcare at Trinity is offered to support opportunities for the grownups to be involved in various events and programs at church, knowing that their kids are cared for in a Bible based setting and having a good time. Trinity Baptist Church in Katy TX offers free childcare for early childhood children through Pre-K during Sunday Evening Discipleship. Our trained childcare professionals spend the time with your baby or toddler playing with toys, singing about Jesus, and making age-appropriate crafts. Childcare is provided only for adults who are attending their own Sunday Evening Discipleship class in the building.

Big Believers

Age 4 – Kindergarten

Big Believers is a fun time of discipleship through music and play on Sunday evenings for our kids in Preschool and Kindergarten. Each week we enjoy learning about God together through Bible lessons, reading books, playing games, and dancing & singing songs. We love music and movement! The kids’ favorite thing is always time on the playground! (If weather permits.)

The Journey

Grades 1-6

Children who come back after Sunday mornings for Sunday evening classes at 4:30 pm learn worship and spiritual growth skills that help them well beyond their grade-school years. Our fast-paced program involves learning games and activities, scripture memory work with challenges and rewards, exposure to missionaries working around the world, and Kid’s Choir time. We have a lot of crazy theme nights just for fun.

Our current study at The Journey is “Bible Boot Camp”.  Where recruits are trained, prepared, and equipped to fight the good fight as part of the Lord’s army! Yes sir! We will be learning about the Armor of God, playing fun games, and singing “I’m in the Lord’s Army” a lot. We will also have fun surprise guests like police officers and army veterans come and speak to us.

Team EPIC (Expressive Praise Instruments for Christ)

Grades 5-6

Our 5th & 6th graders can join Team E.P.I.C. This team is the “up front” leaders in kid’s worship during Journey on Sunday Evenings with song, dance, and scripture. Their goals are to serve the Lord, to be Godly examples to the younger children, to lead others in worship, and to grow as leaders. This is for children who are ready to be an example for others through their own personal walk with Christ. Please contact Valerie if your child might be interested in joining Team EPIC.

TBSM (Trinity Baptist Student Ministry)

Grades 7-12

During TBSM Sunday evening studies we dive past the surface level and tackle hard topics that students face in their daily life and give them a chance to discuss how it relates to their Christian faith.

Our current study is Apostle’s Creed by Matt Chandler. Looking at What Christians believe, why we believe it and how to apply it to our lives. Students break up into small groups led by our student ministry volunteers to discuss the session we covered that night.

Encourage your junior high or high school student to join us. Snacks are provided.

Dinner & Discussion

College & Career

Our College and Career class is for high school graduates, and young single adults. The College & Career group meets off-campus on select Sunday evenings (usually every other) from 6-8 pm for dinner & discussion (D&D). A free dinner is provided as we fellowship for the first half of the night. We then watch, read, and/or discuss the Bible study plan that we have chosen as a group. We always complete each study period (about 6 studies) with a game night. You are encouraged to bring friends.
