Who We Are

Trinity Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, multi-generational community in Katy, Texas, dedicated to helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus. We exist to worship God, make disciples, and serve others, creating a place where everyone can belong, grow, and make a difference.

We are committed to glorifying God through dynamic worship, biblical truth, and a passion for reaching our community with the Gospel. We are a family of believers walking together in faith, grace, and purpose.

Membership

There are three ways to join Trinity Baptist Church.  

Baptism

Any person who has received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior may be baptized by immersion and received as a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Letter

Members from other Baptist churches, having been baptized by immersion, may be received as members of Trinity Baptist Church by coming forward during the response time at any Worship Service.

Statement

Any person coming from other churches or denomination having been baptized by immersion may join Trinity Baptist Church by providing a statement of faith and speaking with the Pastor or staff of TBC.

Church Structure

Ministry Council

Our Ministry Council is comprised of the leaders of the various ministries of our church. These ministries have teams that help them do the work of the ministry. Any church member with a heart for ministry may serve on a Ministry Team for as long as they feel led to serve.

Leadership Council

The Leadership Council is made up of the leaders of each Leadership Team. The Leadership Teams are nominated by our nominating team. The nominated church members who serve on these teams rotate every three years.

Directors

Directors serve for five year terms and assist the church with contracts and legal forms.

Deacons and Staff

Deacons and Staff are selected by the church body to serve Trinity Baptist Church.

Weekly Schedule

SUNDAY MORNINGS

Trinity Baptist Church offers worship services at 8:30 AM, 9:45 AM, and 11:15 AM, featuring biblically-based, relevant teaching for the whole family. Families are encouraged to worship together, with children in Kindergarten through 3rd grade joining the main worship service. During the sermon, children may attend Wee Worship, where they’ll participate in an engaging, age-appropriate Bible lesson designed just for them. Wee Worship is offered in the "fall and spring", helping young children learn to worship alongside their families.

The 11:15 AM service offers written Spanish and Mandarin translation for those who need it. 

Times: 9:45 am and 11:15 am

We offer a variety of Bible studies and discipleship opportunities for all ages, designed to help you grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus, build meaningful relationships, and live out your faith daily. Our programs include weekly adult classes, small groups, and discussion-based studies that focus on Scripture, life application, and spiritual growth.

For students and children, we provide age-appropriate Bible studies and discipleship programs that teach God’s Word in ways they can understand and apply, helping them develop a personal faith and grow in their relationship with Christ.

In addition, we offer mentoring and one-on-one discipleship opportunities for those who want personalized guidance in their spiritual journey. Periodically, Trinity hosts special workshops, retreats, and study series that focus on deeper spiritual growth, practical Christian living, and family life.

No matter your age or stage in faith, our Bible studies and discipleship programs are designed to equip, encourage, and empower you to live a Christ-centered life.

We have some wonderful teachers for kids, students, and Young Adults students to learn more about the Bible and grow alongside one another in their faith.

SUNDAY EVENINGS

Time: 4:30-6:00 PM

Big Believers: is a fun Sunday evening program for Pre-K and Kindergarten kids featuring Bible lessons, music, games, and hands-on activities centered around a new biblical theme each semester.

Sunday Evening Discipleship is a fun program that helps kids grow in their faith through Bible study, worship, Scripture memory, games, missions, and exciting theme nights. Offered during the fall and spring semesters at Trinity Baptist Church.

The Journey (1st-6th grades)

Time: 4:30-6:00 PM

Sunday Evening Discipleship helps students grow deeper in their faith through biblical teaching, meaningful discussion, and practical application to everyday life.

TBSM (7th-12 grades)

Time: 4:30-6:00 PM

Various offerings. Sunday Evening Discipleship is a time for all ages to grow in faith through Bible study, fellowship, and meaningful discussion. Join us Sundays from 4:30–6:00 PM.

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

Time: 6:00-7:15 PM

Access 56 is our ministry for 5th and 6th graders, equipping preteens to grow as leaders through Bible study, discipleship, fellowship, and fun. We meet every Wednesday night.

Access 56 is what we call our preteens. We challenge our 5th and 6th-grade students to be leaders through experience and example. They have higher expectations in personal devotional habits. They also have special events just for fellowship and fun. We have an Access 56 gathering every Wednesday night. Please take a look at our events calendar for upcoming dates.

Childrens

Time: 7:00-8:15 PM

The Worship Choir leads our congregation in worship each month and participates in special musical events throughout the year. Open to students and adults, no audition is required—just a heart to worship through music and community.

Adult Choir

Time: 6:00-7:15 PM

Our midweek gathering gives students a place to build friendships, worship, and grow in God's Word together. It's also a great opportunity to invite friends!

Students

MONDAY AFTERNOONS

Time: 1:00-4:00 PM

Join us on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month in the afternoons for food, fellowship, prayer, and dominoes! Everyone is welcome—whether you're a senior adult or simply enjoy the company. No church membership is required, so invite a friend!

Senior Joy

THURSDAYS AT TRINITY

Time: 9:30-11:00 AM

Join us for a weekly women's Bible study on Thursdays at 9:30 AM or Sundays at 4:30 PM during the school year. Studies include video teaching and discussion, with childcare available for the Sunday session.

Ladies Bible Study

Time: 1:00-2:30 pm

The ESL Ministry helps adults improve their English conversation and language skills. Classes meet during the school year. Classes are free, and everyone is welcome.

ESL

Time: 7:00-9:00 PM

College & Career meets twice a month on select Thursday evenings for fellowship, discussion, and discipleship. Open to young adults (18+), we gather to build Christ-centered community, grow in our faith, and end each quarter with a worship night.

MomCo at Trinity is a Christ-centered community where moms of young children find encouragement, support, and friendship as they navigate motherhood together.

Chinese Bible Study meets in Room 116 and provides a welcoming environment to grow in God's Word through Bible study and fellowship.
