Trinity Baptist Church honors Christ’s challenge to take His gospel to the ends of the earth. We send 9% of our annual budget to mission causes. 3% is given to the Baptist General Convention of Texas with a portion of those monies being sent on to the national Southern Baptist Convention. 3% is given to our local San Felipe Baptist Association to facilitate work in the Katy/Fulshear/Rosenberg area. 3% is used for local missions causes and for mission trips taken by the church.
Trinity also participates in an annual offering above our budget requirements. The Lottie Moon Missions Offering is for international work, the Annie Armstrong Missions Offering supports work in North America, and the Mary Hill Davis Missions Offering helps missionaries in the state of Texas. Trinity collects one offering during the month of December and distributes the money between the three causes.
Trinity Baptist Church wants to encourage missions activities from children to adults. One of the ways we do this is by offering an annual family mission trip. Parents can take their children on an affordable trip within driving distance of Katy, TX. Our missions philosophy is to develop relationships with those that we partner with for a period of 3-5 years, whether it be local or international.
