Josh Guajardo
SENIOR PASTOR
Josh has served as pastor of Trinity since our Inaugural Sunday on February 22, 2004. Josh is also currently a member of the Executive board of the Baptist General Convention of Texas. He is married to Becky and they have two children. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University and a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Matt Martin
WORSHIP PASTOR
Matt Martin became our Worship Pastor in July of 2019. Matt is married to Caryn and they have four energetic redheaded children, and one energetic redheaded rescue dog. Matt enjoys leading the church, through music, to profess Christ, build believers, and live the Gospel. Matt was educated at Sam Houston State University and Baylor University.
Austin Odom
STUDENT PASTOR
Austin joined our staff in February 2019. Austin, his wife Caitlyn, and their two kids love being a part of Trinity Baptist Church of Katy. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a concentration in Youth Ministry and a Master of Arts in Christian Ministry, both from East Texas Baptist University
Valerie Greene
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
The Greene family moved from Austin to Katy in 2012, and found their church home at Trinity. Valerie leads children’s ministry at Trinity, Journey discipleship, Vacation Bible School, and Preteen Camp.
Anne-Marie Helmer
EARLY CHILDHOOD MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Anne-Marie leads our Early Childhood Ministry, Mops Kids, MDO, and our Paid childcare. She and her husband Donald have two daughters and have been members of Trinity since 2004.
Becky Guajardo
OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
Becky joined the Trinity Staff in May 2020 as the Office Administrator. She has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Baylor University and a Master in Finance from LeTourneau University. Becky worked for Perrier as a Senior Financial Analyst for 18 years then owned and operated a music company for 20 years.
Ashley Whitton
FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATOR
Ashley has a Bachelors in Accounting and a Masters in Finance from Texas A&M University. Prior to Trinity, Ashley worked as a Financial Reporting Manager for a public oil & gas company for 11 years. She and her husband Danny moved to Katy in 2020 and have two children.
Karina Puche
MEDIA AND GRAPHICS COORDINATOR
Karina has a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and officially joined our staff in July 2023. She designs and handles all of our graphics and print media, and coordinates our online presence. Karina’s mother, also serves at Trinity providing childcare for our different ministries throughout the year. Karina has a daughter. Karina enjoys, baking cakes and listening to music.
Sarah Johnson
EDUCATION ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Sarah joined our staff in August 2024 as Education administrative assistant and support to the ESL and Encouragers ministries. She and her family have attended Trinity since moving to Greater Houston in 2021. Sarah grew up as a missionary kid in the Middle East and has a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies with a concentration in TESOL from Biola University.
