At each hour, we have three children’s classes – 1st and 2nd grade, 3rd and 4th grade, and 5th and 6th grade. We follow a teaching plan called “The Gospel Project”. This teaches them about God and what we believe at Trinity Baptist Church.
We value Family Worship at Trinity Baptist Church. Wee Worship is for children in Kindergarten-3rd grade who are learning to worship with their families. During our family worship service, just before the sermon, our caring leaders and Wee Worship students step out for a lesson just for them, emphasizing what worship is and how we worship God together. Children return to their families in worship before the end of the service. This is offered in the fall and spring at Trinity Baptist Church.
Sunday Evening Discipleship at Trinity is a student program to help children encourage one another as we learn to be like Jesus. Children who attend Sunday Afternoons for The Journey Program, learn worship and spiritual growth skills that help them develop well beyond their grade-school years. Our fast-paced program involves learning games and activities, scripture memory work with challenges and rewards, exposure to missionaries working worldwide, and Kid’s Choir time. We have a lot of crazy theme nights just for fun. This is offered in the fall and spring at Trinity Baptist Church here in Katy.
Team Epic is Expressive Praise Instruments for Christ musical program that our 5th & 6th grade students. Team E.P.I.C., are the “up front” leaders in kids’ worship during Journey on Sunday Evenings with song, dance, and scripture. Their goals are to serve God, to be Godly examples to the younger children, to lead others in worship, and to grow as leaders.
Access 56 is what we call our preteens. We challenge our 5th and 6th-grade students to be leaders through experience and example. They have higher expectations in personal devotional habits. They also have special events just for fellowship and fun. We have an Access 56 gathering on select Wednesday nights. Please take a look at our events calendar for upcoming dates.
Vacation Bible School is an exciting week-long summer experience at Trinity Baptist Church. It includes fun-filled Bible exploration, crafts, games, and Worship. VBS is a highlight of the summer for our church and community for students grades 1-6. We are so excited to help students grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Trinity Baptist Church has an annual Preteen Camp each summer. Preteen Camp is an action-packed 3-day out-of-town retreat for children who have completed grades 4-6. We travel to a nearby Christian Camp each summer for bible learning, outdoor games, and exploration.
